New Friends

One of the best parts of the Anderson Farmers Market is the people that we have met.  We really and truly love going to the market, even though we are really tired on Saturdays :)  We have been shocked and blessed by the encouragement that people have given us!  It is only because of our wonderful new customers and friends that we are in Green Dog and Keegan's!  They were all suggested by other people, and we really appreciate that!  They say a picture is worth a thousand words...but this is a picture of words, so I'm not sure how that works out...ha.  Anyway, thanks to our friend who left this for us at the market this week!  It really blessed us!

We enjoyed meeting you at Anderson Farmers Market Saturday. I tried your Addictive dark roast and found it wonderful. We will be ordering more. It is good to meet fellow Kentuckians. We were the couple who own a farm just south of Falmouth near Cynthiana. We take 27 past Falmouth and turn at 1294 if you know where that is. We are about 20 miles north east of Cynthiana. We have 183 acres and enjoy the farm on weekends. We have our permanent home in Taylor Mill.

Thomas and Kathleen,
We are so blessed you enjoyed the coffee so far! We too enjoyed meeting you at the market. I can really relate to the challenge of finding consistently stellar and fresh coffee, so, hopefully we can help fulfill that simple desire. Your farm sounds amazing and like something we’d like to have again someday. We had 12 BEAUTIFUL acres on a ridge overlooking both the sunrise and the sunset. I built the home there and it was a small oasis for us. The move to the city has been profitable and fruitful in many ways, but we have a small hole in our hearts for the country life. Perhaps someday we’ll have a place of our own that we can “enjoy on weekends.”

I will be roasting on Tuesday and then we will be out of commission for several weeks as we move the roaster. If you think you will need a few bags to get you through october 16-ish, let me know. That is when I think we will be back up and running – if not sooner.
