Today was a wonderful day! Jake, Adalia, and I spent the day at the orphanage playing with the kids and Justin and Dan took an 8 hour drive to where they will be teaching a conference tomorrow. More driving...just what they wanted to do!! ha. I feel bad for them...but Justin has said all is well.
Today was very redeeming after a bit of a frustrating day yesterday. We had beautiful weather, no rain, and the kids were awesome. This is my 4th time back, and the kids really warm up to me fast now. They know that when I come we will do art...which is great! We played Jenga, made and decorated nametags, played soccer, kickball, played on the swings, blew bubbles, and started on a mural. Whew! It´s truly a great feeling to love on these kids that you know have been left behind. They are so beautiful and joyful. They have had a new boy join them in the last few months who is an orphan. I am so thankful that God has saved them from living in a dump and put them in this wonderful place! The orphanage is done being painted, and it´s so nice! Enjoy some photos of our day!
