It was a Swanky Affair at Peterloon Estate

Carabello Coffee preparing a Chemex at Peterloon EstatePeterloon greeted us as the stately old home she is, grand yet meek, awe-inspiring, yet in some odd way, understated.  The setting for the Edible Ohio Valley Community Dinner at Peterloon was magical.

Never had we prepared and served coffee (and <ahem> Bello's Bike Pops) in such a beautiful setting.  The hand carved wood, the large windows and paintings, the inlaid floors and high ceilings, and a floor plan full of twists and turns that made it feel as if it went on forever...

For our brew method we chose to use a Chemex as she is the most elegant of our brewers.

The evening was full of networking and connecting with new people from the likes of Yelp, Whole Foods, Snowville Milk, The Master Gardeners Society, chefs of local restaurants and on and on.  We were honored to be invited and to have our coffee and pops being enjoyed by all.

The food was superb as many local artisans prepared small bites for the 200+ guests to nibble on throughout the evening.

Thank you Edible Ohio Valley for all you are doing to increase the reach and visibility of local food and sustainable living in our community.  We are direct recipients of your dedicated efforts and are honored to be among your friends.
