We've been purchasing coffee from Luis Alberto Balladarez for almost a decade now. If you've followed our story for any length of time, you'll know what an all around amazing person Luis is and how much we have been blessed to partner with him. Over the whole decade of us purchasing Luis's coffee, there hasn't been a single year where the coffee has simply stayed as good as it was the previous year.
Every year Luis is pushing the envelope at every level conceivable - better farm care, better cherry picking, better variety selection, better cherry processing, better drying - all of this culminates in better and better coffee.

In his own words: "Finca Lo Prometido is located in a very cool area and at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level, which means that the quality of the coffee is of a very good quality and the ripening of the fruits is slow and willing - This specific batch took about 30 days to dry on raised beds."
In the Cup
Expect a coffee nearing 90 points, with a sweet and fruity explosion that is on par with the best of natural processed coffees. Butterscotch, Tropical Fruit, Complex.
