#73 Sumatra Wahana Estate Washed

**All local pick up orders will remain available for 30 days.  After 30 days they will be donated to a local charity due to storage space.**

Back in 2015 we bought a coffee that we loved from an estate in Northern Sumatra. Since that year, we've not been able to find coffees from the same place again, until now.  A long time coffee friend of ours started a sourcing platform that helps connect smaller importers to roasters who are looking for special coffees.  Lo and behold, there was Wahana Estate on the offering list!

Wahana Estate is a unique group of producers in Northern Sumatra. Unlike most of the coffee production in Sumatra, Wahana estate does experimental processing methods to try to sell unique and high quality micro-lots.

This particular micro-lot is a washed separation of "rasuna" which is a unique hybrid of catimor and typica. With the aid of their careful processing, this coffee is by far one of the most unique and flavorful coffees we've tasted in a while. It's bright, has tons of sweetness and origin character, while still having a rustic quality that is displaying the origin character and unique cultivar of Northern Sumatra.

In the Cup
