Carabello Coffee

Limited Release #74 Kinini AA

**All local pick up orders will remain available for 30 days.  After 30 days they will be donated to a local charity due to storage space.**

This coffee is the result of some extremely ambitious dreamers in Rwanda. A retired builder from the UK named Malcolm Clear and a local Rwandan named Jacquie Turner lobbied the Rwandan government and did a remarkable amount of planning and financing to result in the Kinini washing station.

Thanks to their desire to impact the region this station is positioned in, they have managed to leverage industry experts to organize a coffee cooperative from the ground up. Historically, coffee hadn't been grown here. From seedlings all the way up to an export license, these two have labored since 2014 to get something that would create generational opportunities for the people around Rulindo off the ground.

Year one of coffee being produced here, the coffee was immediately cupping at 87 points, which is some of the best coffee out there! The coffee was imported by Crop to Cup for a price that substantiated the quality and invested in further efforts by the Kinini cooperative. We think this is an amazing story, and an amazing coffee for a limited release.

In the Cup

Chocolate, Orange, Melon, Cola
