Myanmar Su Su Aung
**All local pick up orders will remain available for 30 days. After 30 days they will be donated to a local charity due to storage space.**
Su Su Aung is the leader of Amayar's Women's Coffee Producers Group. She was an early adopter in Myanmar's renaissance of coffee growing. She took every class and training available from the aid supplied by the Winrock foundation and other NGO's stationed in Myanmar to help empower the country's burgeoning agricultural sector.
She is now held in high regard across the country as a leader in specialty coffee, and goes out of her way to help other producers around the country see the kind of success Amayar has seen as a mill and group of producers. Su Su Aung's coffee represents a delicious and clean coffee from a part of the world that is still coming into its own in specialty coffee.
We are grieved at the recent wave of violence that has swept through Myanmar. Due to the coup and the continued COVID related supply chain difficulties of the country of Myanmar, very little coffee has been able to leave the country this year. This washed lot from Amayar is one of the few, which we grabbed as quickly as we were told about the country's situation.
We ask you to keep Myanmar in your thoughts and prayers and drink this coffee in support of these wonderful, hardworking people.
