Honduras Maria Fernandez
**All local pick up orders will remain available for 30 days. After 30 days they will be donated to a local charity due to storage space.**
This is our fourth year purchasing the coffee of Maria Isabel Fernandez, and we are stoked to have her coffee here again! Maria grows coffee on the slopes of Santa Barbara at 1600 MASL. She grows the Paranaima variety exclusively, which is a hybrid variety bred to produce exquisite quality while having resistance to diseases.
The cup quality of paranaima is wild, and this is definitely representative of it- think tropical fruit and the sweetest citrus fruits. Maria has partnered with Benjamin Paz of Beneficio San Vicente to mill her coffee after processing and to help arrange a buyer who would pay the premiums her high quality coffee deserve. We are that buyer! We have loved being able to know she is getting rewarded for her hard work, and we get to share her delicious coffee year over year.
