Organic Peru Daniel Huillca

Peru Daniel Huillca is a single producer lot that comes to us from the producer group Valle Inca, found in the Yanatile Valley of south Peru. The group, comprised of over 100 smallholder farmers, has both Organic and Fair Trade certifications and seeks to reinvest in community infrastructure to help foster innovation and improve the quality of the coffee.

Prudencio Vargas Saenz, a former agricultural loan officer, built Valle Inca and is lauded for his leadership as well as his quality coffees. He is well loved as an honest and trustworthy leader who is committed to his community. 

Prudencio's dedication to both relationships and quality production results in a truly phenomenal cup. Coffees from Valle Inca are beautifully nuanced as well as exceptionally approachable and we love the fruity notes we taste in this particular cup.
