Cheers to 10 Years of Analog!

On September 17, 2026 our Analog Coffee Bar celebrated its 10th birthday! To celebrate, we kicked off a special Cheers to 10 Years 5-week menu featuring 10 beloved drinks down through the years as well as giveaways, visits from past baristas, and birthday cake!

As the Cheers to 10 Years menu wraps up this week, we wanted to share some photos of the Analog team, the special drinks and menu, our Limited Release birthday beans, and just a few of the guests who stopped by that first weekend. Enjoy scrolling through and then keep on reading for some thoughts from Emily Carabello on Analog over the last 10 years!

"Our 10 year birthday party was a blast and I’m so grateful I got to be a part of it! I’m so proud of the team, everyone worked so hard. Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us—it was a special weekend." —Cassidy Howard, Analog Bar Manager

For the past 5.5 years, Emily Carabello has provided vision and leadership for our Analog Manager & team. She has rolled up her sleeves and worked tirelessly alongside each of the managers and teams of baristas that have marked the different eras of Analog. While today’s Analog experience is the result of an entire team effort, her leadership has provided the stability needed for it to grow, mature, and now flourish under current manager Cassidy Howard.

Here are some of Emily’s thoughts on Analog over these last 10 years:

"Leading the Analog coffee bar has been one of the most rewarding and the most challenging things I have ever led. Rewarding because we get to be creative, innovate, push boundaries, and try new things constantly. Anyone who knows me knows that I love trying new ideas! However, working with our team to create 6 - 8 new original drinks every 6 weeks for the last 5 years has been incredibly challenging. If you’ve ever had to be creative on demand, you know what I mean! Sometimes our ideas fall flat with the customers and we don't know why. Sometimes they soar and people cannot seem to get enough—again, we often don't know why!

Over the years we have tried many different concepts. We have been open from 1-8 pm for a drinks and dessert style concept. We have tried menus that lasted 3 months and menus that only lasted one month. We have tried food pairings, flights, ticketed events, menus that required people to order their drinks by color, music-driven menus where drinks were served with headphones, and many such concepts... all with varying degrees of success.

But the one thing driving all of our efforts has always been, and we hope will always be: coffee and tea are more than just a final product. If you have the vision and creativity for it, they can be exciting ingredients served in thousands of ways, inspired by books, music, art, travel, culture, color, flavor, eras, cocktails, and more. And these drinks can mark celebrations, memories, and bring joy to mundane weeks.

Reaching 10 years feels like a huge milestone, and one that I wasn't always sure we would reach. Surviving COVID and a staffing shortage that caused us to close for a summer always made us ask: "Should we still do this?" Spoiler alert—YES, WE SHOULD DO THIS!

In the end, I get giddy every single time we launch a new menu. Wondering: will people love it?  What will the best selling drink be? Leading this bar has been one of the best experiences of my life thus far.

It was a sweet time celebrating Analog's 10th year with friends old and new!  It was a blast to eat birthday cake, try classic drinks and be reminded of all the amazing memories we have had the opportunity to create at Analog the last 10 years."

The cafe also celebrated its 13th anniversary on September 17th! Both celebrations are significant milestones for Justin and Emily and all of Carabello Coffee. If you missed it, we’d love to see you in the cafe or at Analog this week or when our fall Analog menu drops!

Cheers to 10 years and hopefully to 10 more!
