This past weekend we were at Ruya's space located at the People's Liberty Headquarters (1805 Elm Street) across the street from historic Findlay Market.
Ruya's space is modeled after Melissa's grandmother's house. It's cozy, quiet, and comfortable. Some of us sat on chairs that were just inches from the ground, while some sat on the couch. It was so much different than sitting in a shop with some friends, you really felt like you were at home.
We talked about our first experience with coffee, the difference in brewing methods mainly, American vs Turkish. Later, we had our fortunes read and shared with the group our wishes and more on what our fortunes told. It was a wonderful time.
