Full Hearts and Fresh Vision

While there is a lot yet to be shared about our trip, we have run out of time to do it while we remain in Nicaragua.  That said, look for some more posts detailing our trip in the coming weeks.

Today we will board our return flight with full hearts and fresh vision.  One thing that has become increasingly clear to me is that these trips are bearing fruit.  People's lives are being touched and hearts are being changed.

Already pastors in the cities of Leon and the Nueva Guinea area are asking when we will be able to return and offer more conferences.   Our visit with Luis (yet to be told) at Beneficio Las Segovias was encouraging beyond words.  That relationship is going to produce good in the lives of many people in the years to come.  And our time with Carlos at the orphanage new insights that we expect will give new direction and vision to our purpose here, most notably in the area of education.

While my wife says I can only develop one thing at a time (with a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face), my heart is full with a desire to help these children dream big.  I truly believe that God is burdening our hearts with a desire to help equip them to realize the dreams He has placed in their hearts.  And in the coming months and year, I hope to begin to flesh out what that looks like.

So, be encouraged friends.  We are all in this together, making a true difference in people's lives.  I am confident of that and will board the plane today very grateful for all the love and support each and every one of you gives us!
