La Bendicion Pacamara Natural

$7.50

This delicious pacamara natural was grown in the Dipilto-Jalapa mountain range in northeast Nicaragua on the farm La Bendición. The name of the farm means “the blessing” and belongs to our dear friend and coffee producer Luis Alberto Balladarez. La Bendición has been in Luis’s family for four generations and he is training up his children as the fifth generation of coffee farmers.

La Bendición spans 252 acres of land and about half of that is dedicated to cultivating coffee. This land is divided into 8 parcels, each with their own unique varietals planted on it. The pacamara lots from La Bendición, including this one, are some of our favorites. The Pacamara varietal is a hybrid- part pacas and part maragogipe. This hybrid bean is especially distinctive in size. It is quite large and ovular, longer in height than width.  Compared to its pacas parent, it can be almost double in size!

In the Cup: Strawberry, Cherry, Tropical, Earthy, Medium Body, Lingering Finish
