Summer Porch Hangs Seasonal Blend

$7

Summer Porch Hangs is back! For the second year, we're releasing this fruity, crisp, and light blend that has the perfect taste for summer!

When considering our summer blend, we set out to create a blend that’s equally enjoyable brewed hot or cold and one you’d be happy to drink all day long. We also wanted it to have flavor notes that are versatile—notes that would taste amazing in coffee sangria, cold brew, with cream and your favorite flavored syrup, or however you prefer to drink coffee in the summer.

We believe this is the kind of coffee you could sip on all day, that it has a flavor profile accessible to pretty much anyone, and that it’ll be tasty any way you prefer to drink it! We ALSO think it happens to taste best on a porch, a balcony, or a deck whether hanging with friends or sipping solo. But don’t just take our word for it—have your own summer porch hang and let us know how you're drinking the Summer Porch Hangs Seasonal Blend!

Summer Porch Hangs consists of two Direct Relationship coffees—one from Michael Omran in Ethiopia and one from Jamir Garcia in Nicaragua—and a third single origin from various small holder producers in Honduras. We love that we get to combine such high quality Single Origins from excellent producers and different parts of the world!

50% Ethiopia Abana Estate Washed (Michael Omran):

We started purchasing coffee from Micheal Omran and his family in 2019. Almost six years later, we can genuinely call them friends. This family has a huge heart for humanitarian causes and takes it upon themselves to be environmentally responsible as well. The coffee from Abana Estate is all hand picked and hand sorted. All the varieties currently grown on the estate are heirloom varieties. We are truly blessed to know the Omran family. We are proud to bring their coffee to you and look forward to doing so for years to come!

30% Nicaragua Buena Vista Natural (Jamir Garcia):

Finca Buena Vista is located in the Nueva Segovia department of Nicaragua. The farm is in the northern part of the country and is close to the border of Honduras. Aptly named, Buena Vista has beautiful views of the Nicaraguan terrain which we have personally seen for ourselves!

It has been nine years since we met Jamir Garcia, owner of Buena Vista and son-in-law of our friend Luis Alberto Balladarez. Jamir is producing some outstanding coffee and making a name of his own. He is a diligent worker who focuses on quality. Having a drive to continuously improve, Jamir takes ample notes on the details of the farm, the harvest, and the coffee processing. Year after year, we taste Jamir’s coffee and every year we are blown away by how it gets better and better.

20% Honduras Red Fruits (Various small holder producers):

This coffee comes to us from a small group of farmers in Marcala, Honduras. We are really excited about the future of working with these Honduran producers. They contribute 100% of their annual crop to the mill. This coffee is then sorted into lots based on quality. This program is great for the producers because it means they get paid for all of their crop, not just the best coffee. We have been buying a coffee called La Navi from these producers for years but Red Fruits is a special coffee that is new to us! Red Fruits, though a washed coffee, has a certain fruity sweetness which we are truly excited about.

In the Cup: Smooth, Balanced, Candied Lemon, Vanilla, Stone Fruit, Dried Blueberry, Subtle Floral
