Winter Warmer Special Dark

Winter Warmer Special Dark is made for the dead of winter, when sipping a cozy cup by a blazing fire feels like perfection. Forget those bright fruity notes! This is officially a dark roast.

Last year, we debuted Winter Warmer Special Dark as our new winter Seasonal Blend. We created Winter Warmer for fans of our darker roasts like Addicting Liquid and Jeff Ruby's Signature Blend—but we're confident this is a coffee that even our Single Origin loyalists will love (as this Seasonal coffee is actually a stealth Single Origin).

Winter Warmer Special Dark is our Single Origin Honduran Red Fruits coming to you from a small group of farmers in Marcala, Honduras. These farmers contribute 100% of their annual crop to the mill. The coffee is then sorted into lots based on quality. This program is great for the producers because it means they get paid for all of their crop, not just the best coffee. We have been buying a coffee called La Navi from these producers for years but Red Fruits is a special coffee that is newer to us! Red Fruits, though a washed coffee, has a certain fruity sweetness that we truly love!
