Introducing...Piccolo by Carabello!
While we’ve already been slinging drinks at events since August, we are excited to officially launch our full-service mobile coffee cart...Piccolo!

We created the Piccolo coffee cart for a few reasons: to expand our reach beyond our brick & mortar cafe, to leverage the gifts of our current team and provide more job opportunities for our staff, and to have another area of our company in which we can grow in a sustainable way.
Why did we name it Piccolo? Well, if you didn’t know, the surname Carabello is Italian. So we wanted the cart to have its own identity but still fit with our larger name. In Italian the word piccolo (PEEK-oh-loh) means “small” and the coffee cart is obviously much smaller compared to our cafe! We chose the image of a swallow because they’re small, fast birds that are thought to be good luck in Spain & Italy.
Piccolo is available for all sorts of events throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky including: corporate events, weddings, conferences, brand activations, office gatherings, showers, birthdays, holiday parties, private celebrations, community events, and pop-ups. With Piccolo, you can expect professional baristas, handcrafted espresso drinks and specialty coffee, and a customizable beverage menu!

Operations of Piccolo will be handled by Patty Blood, our Director of Catering! After more than a year on the Carabello team, Patty’s enthusiasm and desire to contribute more made her a natural fit to lead our growing catering offerings. Over the past four months, she’s helped bring Piccolo from an idea to a café quality coffee experience for weddings, corporate gatherings, and celebrations of all kinds.
With events already underway, we’re excited for you to meet (or re-meet!) Patty—and see what she and our barista team can bring to your next gathering!
